Minnesota extended football coach P.J. Fleck’s contract through the 2030 season.The extension announced Wednesday was approved by the school’s board of regents at its July meeting. Financial terms were not disclosed.Fleck, 44, has compiled a 58-39 record since taking over the Golden Gophers in 2017, including 34-36 in the Big Ten.Minnesota has won all six bowl games under Fleck, including the Duke’s Mayo Bowl vs. Virginia Tech last season.All other head coaches in program history have won a combined seven bowl wins, and the Golden Gophers are 13-12 under all coaches.
