The Wild did it again.
They lost on the road. This time it was a 3-1 loss in San Jose.
That makes five straight losses on the road.
They have lost on back-to-back nights in Anaheim and San Jose, teams with a combined one loss at home.
Anaheim hasn’t lost at home this season and the Sharks have just one loss.
While it can be argued that these two teams are very though on their ice, the Wild need to step up on the road.
Or it will cost them.
It could keep them out of the playoffs.
Or, it could mean they eke in and face the NHL’s best team, the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Black Hawks.
That would not be a good thing.
